QuiAltrove ETS Association

Founded in 2021, QuiAltrove ETS is an independent association that operates in the field of contemporary art as a tool for research, networking and social transformation. The association promotes an open and participatory culture, deeply connected to the places and communities that inhabit them, activating processes capable of intertwining artistic, urban and social dimensions.

Some of QuiAltrove’s projects originate from listening practices and develop as shared journeys, where art becomes an opportunity to inhabit spaces in a new way, create meaning and build meaningful relationships between generations, regions and different contexts. Dialogue, nurturing processes and attention to vulnerability are central elements of an approach that conceives cultural production as a shared and transformative experience.

The association operates in a cross-border context, recognizing borders not just as geographical lines but as symbolic places of encounter, exchange and redefinition of identities. In this context, QuiAltrove invests strongly in younger generations, offering concrete opportunities for growth, experimentation and exchange through artistic, educational and co-design programs.

The Circle is the association’s exhibition and design space, located at Via Rastello 91, in the heart of Borgo Castello in Gorizia, created from an urban regeneration process and returned to the community. It is a place where memory is translated into design and art becomes a means of connection. It is not just a simple gallery, but a conceptual and performing area: a meeting point for artistic activities, critical thinking and active participation. The QuiAltrove association conceives this space as a permanent laboratory, where new ways of creating culture can be experimented with, imagining futures grounded in creativity, inclusivity and dialogue.
